Recycling Info

Poly mailers are convenient because they're lightweight and waterproof, but what do you do with them when you're done using them? Recycling poly mailers is a surprisingly easy process, and this step-by-step will show you how to do it. Our mailers are 100% recyclable, but they must be recycled properly!

Here's How To Do So:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1. Before taking your shipping bags to be recycled, you’ll have to remove the paper labels off of the mailers, so they can be recycled properly without being thrown out by the recycling companies.

2. Because of the mix of plastics used in the mailers, they can’t be thrown in any normal plastic recycling bin. Just as you would recycle a grocery bag or retail bag; you’ll need to recycle these at a specialized designated drop off area. These will typically be a grocery or retail store; as they have to recycle their own bags in the same fashion.

3. Visit bagandfilmrecycling, enter your zip code and find a drop off area that’s closest and most convenient for you. Typical places for recycling are Food Lions, Publix, Targets, and some zeal-Marts. Take your mailers there and the earth will thank you! 🥰
